Calling All Avid Cyclists!

Are you passionate about cycling? Superior Country is organizing a familiarization tour in our area to showcase the parks and ride route along the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail, Lake Superior Expansion. We're looking for local cyclists who would be interested in being photographed while riding through Terrace Bay. All you need is a road bike, helmet, and a love for cycling (cycling gear is optional). If you enjoy cycling and don't mind being photographed, please send your information to economics@terracebay.ca by August 15th, 2024. The event will take place sometime in September 2024, with the exact date to be determined.

Local Road Closure

Scheduled for: Tuesday July 23
There will be a road closure on Hudson Drive between Laurier and Selkirk Tuesday July 23rd.
It will be open to local traffic only and is expected to be just for the day.

Terrace Bay Action Centre – Now Open!

Terrace Bay Action Centre is NOW OPEN!
As part of the response to the idling of AV Terrace Bay, the Township of Terrace Bay in coordination with the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training, Skills and Development has opened the Terrace Bay Action Centre. The purpose of the Action Centre is to help displaced workers in the community and surrounding area to find employment through means of providing resources for resume building, interview prep, skill building workshops, hosting certification courses as well as connecting potential candidates with employers. The Action Centre will be open to all members of the public.
We are Located in the Terrace Bay Community Centre - Conference room and our hours are Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm!
