Municipal Property Taxes – Second Installment Date

RESIDENT NOTICE - Municipal Property Taxes

Please be reminded that the second installment of Final Taxes is due October 31, 2024.

The Terrace Bay Municipal Office will be OPEN and to pay a bill over the phone – Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 4:30pm

- Tax payments are accepted through electronic means (telephone, online, mobile banking)

- By mail or courier (cheque or money order; do not send cash). Post Dated Cheques are accepted for due dates.

- Residents may also call into the office to pay their bills over the phone with a credit card.

Ensure that the amount on the cheque reflects the exact amount owing, and include the remittance portion of your tax bill. Note that payments are processed on business days only.

Terrace Bay Financial Audit Services – RFP

The Township of Terrace Bay is pleased to invite proposals from qualified and experienced organizations for the provision of external audit services for the Municipality. This is not a call for tender but a request for proposals to identify a preferred Proponent and to initiate negotiations which, if mutually satisfactory, would lead to a five (5) year contract for the supply of Financial Audit Services.

Deadline for submitting proposal: 11:00 a.m. local time on November 1, 2024

Terrace Bay Strategic Plan – 2025 to 2029

That is why we have kicked off a project to create our 2025-2029 Strategic Action Plan! We are pleased to be partnering with MGA – McQueen Galloway & Associates and McSweeney & Associates for this important assignment.

Snow Removal Assistance Program 2024/25

September 25, 2024

The municipality will be offering snow removal services to eligible individuals, couples, or families. To be eligible for the program, a household must meet one of the following requirements: Current Documents must be provided.

65 years of age or older and provide proof that you are financially unable to make arrangements (i.e. HST rebate or Trillium), or

Physically handicapped and provide proof that you are financially unable to make arrangements (i.e. disability pension) or

To have the fee waived, a senior who is 65 years or over must provide evidence at the time of application that they are receiving the Guaranteed Income Supplement.

There must be NO person living at the address above who is physically capable of removing snow to be eligible for the program.

REGISTRATION DATES:

Wednesday, October 16 – 9am to 4:30pm
Thursday, October 17 – 9am to Noon
Terrace Bay Community Centre – Conference Room/Labour Action Centre
