Winter Landfill Site Hours of Operation

The Winter Landfill Site Hours of Operation will begin tomorrow - Friday, October 16.

Open on Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm

Closed on Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday.

TB Community Centre – Change Rooms CLOSED

The TB Community Centre - Change Rooms are CLOSED until further notice starting today, Monday - September 28.  The closure is due to changeroom upgrades.

Terrace Bay Surplus Goods For Sale

Curling Club Survey: Join Us!

This year the Terrace Bay Curling Club is hoping to open with specific COVID safety restrictions. At this time they will follow guidelines from the Curling Canada Association for safely opening our operations and hope to host curling on the same days as last year. Given that this year may look a little bit different they are surveying all members new and existing, to safely re-open.

Terrace Bay Mill Road Reconstruction Project

Reminder – The Municipality of Terrace Bay wishes to advise residents that the Mill Road Reconstruction Project has started.  Construction Activities in these areas will be ongoing.  To ensure public safety as well as the safety of the workers, residents are asked to exercise caution while in this area and obey all signs and safety barriers.  For more information call the Municipal Office at 825-3315.

Reminder to Residents: Be Bear Wise

The potential for human-bear interactions increases when there are less natural food sources available. This is when food sources such as garbage, fruit trees and bird seed can draw bears into populated areas.

If you have a fruit tree attracting bears, we encourage you to harvest the fruit from the trees to reduce the amount of unwanted visits in your neighbourhood.

Follow these tips to prevent an unwanted visit by bears foraging for food:
