Residents Notice – Prohibit the Feeding of Wildlife
This is a reminder that in accordance with Bylaw No. 16-2012, a Bylaw to Prohibit the Feeding of Wildlife within the Corporate limits of The Township of Terrace Bay. Reminder to empty and/or remove your bird feeders between May 1 to October 31, as the bird feed is a known attractant to the bears.
Residential Spring Clean Up Week – May 13 to 20, 2023
Use of the landfill site will be free of charge from May 13 to May 20, 2023, closed May 16 & 18 inclusive for residential properties only of the Township of Terrace Bay.
Residents Notice – Hays Lake Dam Outflow Increase
Please be advised that there will be an increase in flow at the Hays Lake Dam from 14cms to 106cms today (May 4, 2023). We are expecting high flows coming this weekend due to warmer weather and some possible rain. Stay Safe, Stay Clear!

Boil Water Advisory Lifted – April 21, 2023
The Township of Terrace Bay wide Boil Water Advisory is now lifted for residents and businesses as of April 21, 2023 at 9:20am.
RESIDENTS NOTICE: Township Wide Boil Water Advisory in Effect – April 17 2023
Monday April 17, 2023, 4:45 AM - All Residents and Businesses Affected
Effective immediately Monday April 17, 2023, 4:45 AM until further notification, the Township of Terrace Bay will be under a boil water advisory. The Boil Water advisory will be lifted as soon as results ensuring water quality are received. A Boil Water Advisory will be in effect until further notice. Please note that all water used for human consumption must be brought to a rolling boil for one (1) minute.
Information regarding what to do during a "Boil Water Advisory" is available at the Municipal Office (807) 825-3315 or the Thunder Bay District Health Unit at (807) 625-5900. Please contact the Municipal Office for further information if required.

2023 Senior of the Year Award
The Township of Terrace Bay is now accepting nominations for the 2023 Senior of the Year Award
The award is to recognize an outstanding senior who, after age 65, enriches the social cultural, or civic life of the community.
Nominations must include the first and last name, contact number, email address, and a detailed description of the nominee’s achievements and why they should receive the award.
