The Great Northern Ontario Roadshow with Christmas Artisan Market & Science North Science Shows – FREE

Mark Your Calendars! The Great Northern Ontario Road Show featuring the local Christmas Artisan Market and Science North Shows on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from Noon to 4:00pm at the Michael King Hall.  FREE EVENT!
Christmas Artisan Market - Doors will open at Noon to 4pm featuring our local artisans and home based businesses! Great time to get that perfect gift for Christmas!
Science North will be there with lots of new hands-on science activities and exhibits for kids and adults of all ages to enjoy! And don’t miss the Live Science Shows happening at 12:30pm and 2:30pm!
Everyone Welcome to this FREE event!   Reminder COVID-19 Masking Protocols and Proof of Vaccination will be required at the door for everyone 12 years and older.

Terrace Bay Memorial Arena Update

The arena brine pumps have been repaired and we will begin making ice today!  Huge thank you to AV Terrace Bay for repairing our pump, the Adey Brothers Contracting for installation, as well as staff and council for their tireless efforts ensuring all available options were exhausted and not giving up.
We hope to have the arena available for regular use the third week of December and will update the community as we get closer to opening.

In 2020 Council and Administration undertook a strategic planning exercise which culminated in the 2020 – 2023 Community Strategic Plan which can be found here: Terrace Bay Strategic Plan 2020-2023

The 2020-2023 Community Strategic Plan identifies 5 strategic directions within the plan as:

- Community Growth – People and Assets
- Community Beautification and Environment
- Terrace Bay as a Destination

Taking the strategic direction into account, within the context of the 2022 municipal budget, please fill out the following survey.
