Fitness Room Re-Opening on Friday, July 24, 2020

RE-OPENING! The Terrace Bay Fitness Room will be re-opening on Friday, July 24, 2020.  All memberships have been extended for the period that the fitness room was closed based on members date of expiry.

FITNESS ROOM RE-OPENING

The Fitness Room is scheduled to re-open starting Friday, July 24, 2020
Hours of Operation will be Monday to Sunday – 24 hours a day with the exception of the cleaning hour.
Cleaning Hour:  Monday to Saturday – 9:00am to 10:00am – fitness room closed to members

Residents Notice – Hays Lake Dam Outflow Increase

Please be advised that the water flows out of Hays Lake Dam will be increasing from 0 to 67cms today, July 8, 2020.  Residents are advised to exercise caution  if you are around the Aguasabon River or Terrace Bay Beach area of the increased water flow.  Please stay away from any ice!  Stay Clear!  Stay Safe!

Residents Notice – Construction Project Locations

Reminder - The Municipality of Terrace Bay wishes to advise residents that as of June 15, 2020, Construction Activities commenced in the following areas:

  • Selkirk Avenue - sidewalk replacement
  • Kenogami Rd/Beach Rd Intersection - upgrade
  • Beach Rd/Terrace Bay Beach - Waterfront Development Project

Construction Activities in these areas will be ongoing throughout the Summer and Fall.  To ensure public safety as well as the safety of the workers, residents are asked to exercise caution while in these areas and obey all signs and safety barriers.  For more information call the Municipal Office at 825-3315.

The Terrace Bay Municipal Office will be Re-Opening to the Public starting Saturday, June 6 with the following COVID-19 Restrictions:

HOURS OF OPERATION:
Monday to Friday – 10:00am to 9:30pm
Saturday – 10:00am to 4:00pm

Notice of Hydrant Flushing & Valve Exercising – June 1 to 15

The Ontario Clean Water Agency will be conducting Hydrant Flushing and Valve Exercising with the Municipal Drinking Water System from June 1 to 15, 2020.  Residents may experience discoloured water during this maintenance activity.  If this happens, residents are to run their water taps until clear.  If you require more information contact the Municipal Office at 825-3315.
