NEW THIS YEAR! Canada Day Celebrations at the Terrace Bay Beach - July 1, 2022
Join us this year as we celebrate Canada's Birthday at the Terrace Bay Beach starting at 4:00pm to Dark for a fun filled Beach Party!
Our Beach Party includes Canada Day Ceremony, Games, Beer Gardens & Food Vendors, Dance Party at the Beach with DJ Derek Boucher and ends the day with a Canada Day Fireworks Display!

Township of Terrace Bay’s 2022 Budget Survey

In 2020 Council and Administration undertook a strategic planning exercise which culminated in the 2020 – 2023 Community Strategic Plan which can be found here: Terrace Bay Strategic Plan 2020-2023

As of midnight tonight, the Ministry of Natural Resources will be implementing a restricted fire zone/fire ban for our area. All residential fire permits will be suspended at 12:00am Saturday, July 10, 2021 until further notice.

Water Outage / Boil Water Advisory

ATTENTION

TOWNSHIP WIDE WATER OUTAGE/ BOIL WATER ADVISORY

 Monday July 5, 2021 6:00 AM

 All Residents and Businesses Affected

8:43am - Update #1 - while water has been temporarily restored as of 8:30am there will be intermittent outages throughout the day as repairs are made.

Due to a power disruption to the water treatment plant, there is an unplanned water outage affecting the entire Township.

While water has been temporarily restored as of 8:30am, there will be intermittent outages throughout the day as repairs are made.

We advise residents and businesses to please take all necessary precautions during this outage.

 Once water service is restored, a Boil Water Advisory will be in effect until further notice. Please note that all water used for human consumption must be brought to a rolling boil for one (1) minute.

The Municipality will carry out required testing of water in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health of the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

Information regarding what to do during a "Boil Water Advisory" is available at the Municipal Office (825-3315) or the Thunder Bay District Health Unit at 807-625-5900.
