QR Vaccination Enhanced Certificate required as Proof of Vaccination to enter Terrace Bay Recreational Facilities

REMINDER - PROOF OF VACCINATION with QR Code Only to be accepted as a requirement to enter the Township of Terrace Bay Recreational Facilities.
As of January 10/22 Ontarians will need to use the province’s enhanced COVID-19 vaccine certificate equipped with a QR code to enter any location where proof of vaccination is required.
The enhanced certificates can be digital or a paper copy. Those with medical exemptions also need verified certificates with a QR code as doctor’s notes will no longer be accepted as of January 10.
It’s important to note that as of Dec. 23, 2021, the Ontario government defines full vaccination as having two doses and there isn’t a formal requirement yet to show proof of having three doses.
If you haven’t downloaded the personal QR code yet, you can do so on the government’s website, have it mailed, or call the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1-833-943-3900.

The basics of the tournament is participants register with their postal code online at AnglersAtlas.com or through the MyCatch app, pay $20 and go fishing! Anytime an angler lands a fish, they use the app to take a photo of their catch next to a measuring device and results are then posted to a local and provincial leaderboard. If anglers are out of service when fishing, the app will store photos until anglers are back on the grid. The tournament runs the entire month of February, all species are eligible, and participants can fish anywhere in Ontario. The tournament has both a local and provincial component meaning anyone registering with a 2W0 postal code is in the Terrace Bay and Ontario Prize Pool. It’s important to note that anyone registering with a different postal code is automatically in the Provincial Prize Pool however there may not be a local aspect associated with their township.

We hope to have you participate in the 2022 ON Ice Fishing Challenge and wish you the best of luck on the ice!
The Township of Terrace Bay & its council are committed to providing safe, fun, inclusive recreation programming to everyone in our community.
